The pyhton skin used is not mere material for us, we treat it like an artist treats his canvas; whit the love, respect and dedication that it deserves. We understand that style and fashion are a vital part of your lives and strive to make unique products for our discerning customers.

BonVivant's motto has always been to provide excellent quality and service.

We have a small but mighty team and we've supported the same factory of workers and families in Indonesia for 7 years. We are mindful of unnecessary over-production and continue to manufacture intentionally and in small batches.

We want you to have a smooth and hassle-free experience shopping with us. Our staff has great experience in working with exotic leather passed down from father to son.

We use only really fresh and soft genuine leather matte, shiny or glazed finishes for our products. There is no quality difference, only personal teste and preferences. But the most important things is that not any snake have the same pattern that will make your bag the only one in the world!

Despite fears about the extinction of pythons, we know that in Indonesia thye are widespread in their habitat, have fast growth rates and high reproductive outputs.

The state allocates a certain amount of quotas per year, thus this dose not affect the ability of the population to remain at a stable level. There is also a common misconception, that pythons are used only for the production of skins, but it's really not the case. Indonesia is one of the most exotic places in the world. Local people in many parts of Indonesia have long utilized reptilies for various purposes. This system of health care of the local people verbally is known as ethnomedicine, indigenous medicine, or folk medicine. The reptilies could also be used as part of the traditions, culture and cooking.

We do not engage in unscrupulous business practices and follow all state, federal and international laws regarding the sale of exotic leather. Tread in South-East Asian python has been regulated under CITES since the Convention entered into force in July 1975. With the exception of the Indian subspecies of the Rock Python molurus, which is endangered. All other species are includedin Appendix II - being species not necessarily threathened with extinction, but in which trade must be controlled in order to avoid utilization that is incompatible with their survival. But we use only Reticulated python skin for our products.

For an additional fee we can provide CITES PERMISSION on our products for our customers and it may take several weeks to get it. This type of certificate can be used at the customs office of your country when legally importing a commercial bathc of python genuine leather goods.

Our suppliers of leather, who are eligible for legal sale, get it only from Farms That Supply International High-Quality Leather Industry Products for Captive-bred pythons, completely isolated from the wild and it is sustainable and humane to breed in captivity in Indonesia.

We're confident that we receive python skins from proven sustainable, legal and humane sources, and donate the proceeds from each purchase to our local animal welfare organizations that care for sick, injured and homeless animals in Indonesia.
